What To Expect From The Magnificent 6th Edition Of Paris Design Week – Overlapping the esteemed Maison et Objet Paris 2017, Paris Design Week returns for its sixth edition from 8-16 September 2017 and is set to surprise its guests with enticing features and trends for the upcoming season that honour not only design in general but also the contemporary crafts. The borderless event brights up the city for over eight days, welcoming French and international professionals as well as the general public to get to know the best showcase of design in Paris. Nevertheless, the event has one goal: “to share the love of design outside the walls of MAISON&OBJET PARIS and to educate the greatest number of people about design.”

Alternatively, the headlining Now! Le Off Exhibition takes place at Les Docks, Cité de la Mode et du Design, and gathers new design talents and emerging design brands from around the world. This exhibition has become a catalyst for designer’s creativity and is a major career booster. The selected artists will then take part in the RADO STAR PRIZE France contest.

The Parisian event unites 300 participants, including Molteni&C | Dada, Balsan Showroom and Maisons du Monde, that know, first and foremost, how to create and promote unrivalled designs. Furthermore and with the arrival of autumn, this is the perfect opportunity to display new collections and concepts. Overall, Paris Design Weeks reunites the strength and knowledge of people from all kinds of sectors, from retail to galleries, to showrooms, to hotels and restaurants, in order to conceive the ultimate design experience to its visitors.
At the 8-day show, visitors can also enjoy, in various venues, late-night openings, debates, conferences, installations, and even cocktails in a majestic commemoration of design.
Paris Design Week comes to intensify the bonds in the Parisian design scene but also forges the technical dimension with the creation of the Projects special itinerary, giving the possibility to specifiers and individuals with development projects to come into the exhibitors’ showrooms and meet professionals from the interior design industry and be inspired by their work.
